Yes, just like a box cake mix you get at the store, you will need a couple fresh ingredients. Typically this is butter, eggs, milk and sometimes vegetable oil. This not only gives our products a long shelf life, making them perfect for gifting or keeping on hand, but it also allows you to easily adapt the recipe to suit dairy-free or vegan diets.

Basic kitchen tools you'll need:

• a few mixing bowls
• a whisk
• a spatula
• a baking tray

Highly recommended but not necessary:

• a mesh strainer
• a stand mixer or hand mixer

Each kit comes with all the dry shelf stable ingredients, specialty tools, video tutorials and pdf instructions you'll need to complete each project. Each kit also has a cupcake holder that comes with it so you can convert your kit box into a handy cupcake carrier.

Foxiecakes kits are great for sharing! Each kit makes 12 cupcakes. One kit can be enjoyed by two people together sharing tools. Want to make sharing even easier? Add a piping kit "expansion pack" to your order. Each expansion pack includes an extra set of decorating tools, so more friends can join the fun!

We do not sell kit items individually, however, you can add on to your kit a piping kit "expansion pack" to make it easier to share the activity with a friend.
